A seminar designed for professionals who will be managing a newborn screening programme and the screeners' activities on a day-to-day basis. The main aims will be to give an understanding of the issues involved in newborn screening and emphasise the measures needed to ensure that quality assurance measures are met. Also to give a basic understanding of baby care, maternity hospital safety procedures and provide a safe environment to enable hands-on baby testing using OAE equipment. Fee: £85.
